ISIS

So recently in school, one of my teachers brought up a debate about the government and the decision on whether to get further involved in the disagreement between ISIS (Islamic State: Iraq+Syria) and a local terrorist group. Obama stated that it was our duty to help out an ally country in a time of need, and they have been sending in air forces for a while, but Obama thinks we need to send in ground troops as well. We read an article, watched the speech, and took sides on what we think should happen. I personally said we should not send in the ground troops, as it is only a terrorist group that is no match for ISIS's defenses and the USA's air forces put together. That said, why should we feel the need to protect everyone else? We have plenty of problems going on here already. I understand moral support and a bit of hep, but we shouldn't feel the need to do something that is, in the long run, not necessary? Please don't hate on me for this, it's only one person's opinion, and I can't be expected to please everyone. Again, just please don't hate! Thanks for listening!
